You will also have the support of the Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD). Whether you are looking for your first job or launching into your dream career, OCPD is here to help you prepare, offering support with resume preparation, professional assessments, interview practice, and more. After graduation, when you become a Bulldog for life, OCPD will still be here to support you throughout your career.

Handshake
Through Handshake, both students and alumni can schedule appointments with OCPD career consultants, connect with businesses and organizations for jobs and internships, as well as network with the Redlands community in their industry. Handshake is an interactive platform which allows you to access the OCPD, join events, conduct employment research, and access resources.

Handshake resources library includes resume and interview tips, graduate school preparation, writing guides, and curriculum tailored to one's career path.
OCPD Career Studio
Visit the OCPD Career Studio, a help center for any University of Redlands student or alumni seeking career advice, direction, or assistance. OCPD’s Career Studio is staffed by Peer Career Educators (PCEs), a team of highly trained and skilled undergraduate and graduate students representing different majors and programs, and widely varied interests, experience and future goals. Book a virtual or in-person appointment on Handshake to learn more about the space and its hours of availability for the current semester.
